Angela Kail has been at NPC for ten years and leads NPC’s funder team, driving our work with corporates, grant-making trusts and individuals. This includes strategy consulting, reviews of grants, and evaluations.
Over the years, Angela has worked on a wide variety of consulting projects for both charities and funders, helping them to develop and refine their strategy and to measure their impact. She is currently working with a number of philanthropists to help them manage their giving. Angela led the piloting of NPC’s shared approach to measuring the Journey to EmploymenT, and its adaptation to Northern Ireland. She also led the development of a shared framework for financial capability. She has also worked on several evaluations of funding programmes for both government and grant-making trusts and foundations, leading those for Communitybuilders and the Mayor’s Fund. She is currently working on approaches to funder collaboration and theories of change for funders.
Angela has written several reports, which include research into charities tackling violence against women and the role of community organisations. She was instrumental in developing NPC’s approach to theory of change.
